नोएडा के इस मॉल पर प्राधिकरण ने लगाया 25 लाख का जुर्माना, जानिए क्यों की ये कार्रवाई?

Noida: सेक्टर-25ए स्थित मोदी मॉल पर नोएडा प्राधिकरण ने 25 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया है। यह कार्रवाई जन स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम ने बुधवार को औचक निरीक्षण के बाद की। निरीक्षण में मॉल प्रबंधन द्वारा कचरा प्रबंधन नियमों का पालन न करने और सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक (SUP) के उपयोग की पुष्टि हुई।जन स्वास्थ्य विभाग के महाप्रबंधक एस.पी. सिंह और वरिष्ठ प्रबंधक गौरव बंसल के नेतृत्व में टीम ने मॉल का निरीक्षण किया। जांच में पाया गया कि मॉल से प्रतिदिन 100 किलोग्राम से अधिक ठोस अपशिष्ट उत्पन्न होता है, लेकिन उसके निस्तारण, पृथक्करण और भंडारण के लिए निर्धारित मानकों का पालन नहीं किया जा रहा था। बल्क वेस्ट जनरेटर (BWG) होने के बावजूद मॉल में गार्बेज डिकंपोज मशीन नहीं मिली और कचरे को स्थानीय वेंडरों के माध्यम से बाहर फिंकवाया जा रहा था।
सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक पर भी कार्रवाई
निरीक्षण के दौरान टीम ने मॉल में संचालित 30 से अधिक दुकानों और शोरूमों की जांच की। इनमें से चार दुकानों पर सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक का उपयोग पाया गया, जिस पर प्राधिकरण ने 40 हजार रुपये का अतिरिक्त जुर्माना लगाया है। महाप्रबंधक एस.पी. सिंह ने बताया कि निरीक्षण के दौरान मॉल प्रबंधन और स्टाफ ने सहयोग नहीं किया। कई गंभीर कमियां मिलने के कारण मॉल प्रबंधन पर 25 लाख रुपये का दंड लगाया गया है। प्राधिकरण ने मॉल प्रबंधन को एक सप्ताह के भीतर जुर्माना जमा कराने का निर्देश दिया है। ऐसा न करने पर कठोर कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी गई है।
अन्य मॉलों पर भी होगी सख्त जांच
प्राधिकरण ने स्पष्ट किया है कि शहर के अन्य मॉल और बड़े व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठानों में भी कचरा प्रबंधन नियमों के पालन की जांच की जाएगी। एस.पी. सिंह ने कहा कि सफाई व्यवस्था में लापरवाही या सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक के उपयोग पर किसी भी मॉल प्रबंधन को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
